Change the change with some changalicious changedy CHANGE!

Change is the order of the day. Barack Obama has ridden the wave of dissatisfaction to the forefront of the Democratic party, and John McCain is the least Republican of the Republicans. The last 8 years of the American Presidency have torn the country's parties further apart, with party discipline demanding conformity and cooperation from the nation's conservatives. All the while, people who remember the sixth article of our Constitution are either shaking their heads or their fists, trying to determine the proper course of action to bring our Nation back on track. The US has lost its former place of honor as the nation that respects the rights mankind.

But what are we going to do about it?

I will outline in the next few posts several legislative and executive acts that I believe would improve our international standing and our domestic circumstances.
It is more a thought experiment in public policy than anything else.
